Edwin René Martínez studied Film at Hunter College in New York City. Edwin got his start as a Production Assistant working on several short films including Three Deaths and a Date (2007 Wildwood by the Sea Film Festival) directed by Dennis Cieri and El Cazador de Venganza (2008 New York International Latino Film Festival) directed by Erick Caminero. Edwin also got the opportunity to act in El Cazador de Venganza playing 'Pepito'. After working as a PA, Edwin decided to grow as a Writer, Director, Producer, Photographer, and Editor. In 2008, Edwin independently produced his first documentary short called My Life, My Struggle: I Am an Artist where he documented the lives of three artists living in New York City facing personal and professional roadblocks, which was a top ten finalist in the FilmClick Online Film Festival and, right now, Edwin is currently writing a feature film.
