Chris Houghton is a New York-based editor with quite an impressive line of credits to his name. He has edited several feature films, including "What Alice Found", winner of the Grand Prix at the Deauville Film Festival, and also the winner of a special jury award at the Sundance Film Festival. After having edited everything from documentaries to television, to web content, Chris is still learning, which he likes. When it comes to his work, Chris lets one important philosophy guide him, and that is to make edits seamless, practically invisible, except for those occasions when they shouldn't be. But, as he says, "knowing when they should and when they should not is the fun part."
